The Fighting Senator Manny Pacquiao Prepares For Another Boxing War

By Alon Calinao Dy: The fighting pride of the Philippines, Senator Manny Pacquiao, is now preparing for another battle against the reigning WBO Welterweight Champion Jessie Vargas for another exciting boxing match on November 5 at the Thomas & Mack in Las Vegas.

Who is Jessie Vargas? Jessie Vargas is a young and strong American fighter who has an amazing hand speed and power to knock his opponent out. He held WBO welterweight champion since March 2016.

Pacquiao has always had the passion to go back into boxing and back in shape since he already brought many achievements to the Philippines at the very start of his professional boxing career.

Though the fighting senator is looking for another milestone of his boxing profession to become a three-time WBO welterweight champion, critics have something bad to say against him about his return into the sport.

For now, Pacquiao does not think about the harsh words coming from the opposition of the Duterte administration after he supported the plan of bringing back the death penalty in the Philippines. At the moment, he wants to forget about Philippine politics and wants to focus on his upcoming fight against Vargas.

In an interview by Nikkie Asian Review journal to Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, a blogger and a solid supporter of President Duterte and Sen. Manny Pacquiao, Mr. Dy said "Pacquiao did not surrender. He also helped poor people in the Philippines. Sharing all his blessings from Above. That's what I want to be."

In a recent news, Pacquiao gave over 1,000 houses to Filipino homeless people in the Philippines coming from his own pocket. The fighting senator remains an inspiration to a lot of Filipinos that a real change in life is possible if people work hard for it.

Pound-for-Pound Boxer Floyd Mayweather May Possibly Visit President Rodrigo Duterte To Give His Respect

By Alon Calinao Dy: Reports say that Floyd Mayweather, Jr., one of the best boxers of this generation today will visit President Rodrigo Duterte in the Palace.

Though the date is not yet confirmed about his visit. Manny Pacquiao, on the other hand, is willing to accompany the American fighter to meet the most beloved president in the Philippines.

Many people can say that Pacquiao and Mayweather are worst enemies in the ring, but definitely they are considered best friends outside the ring, as these two boxers have so much respect for each other.

Nobody knows right now why Mayweather wanted to meet Pacquiao and at the same President Duterte. But one thing is sure that the American boxer supports the current administration in their battle against illegal drugs.

Mayweather himself opposed to the usage of steriods among athletes especially for boxers who thought using these illegal substance would help them in their competition inside the boxing arena.

Both Pacquiao and Mayweather have so much respect for President Duterte as they realized his efforts to make the Philippines a better and safe country for everyone.

Boxing Future Hall of Fame Manny Pacquiao To Fight A Younger Opponent in November

By Alon Calinao Dy: Boxing future hall of fame and now Senator Manny Pacquiao said that he has an upcoming fight possibly in October or November this year as Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum confirmed this good news that Pacquiao is ready to fight a younger and stronger opponent than Timothy Bradley.

Pacquiao has faced critics in the senate regarding his plan to come back into boxing. It seems some politicians are not happy about his decision as he already closed the boxing life when he defeated Bradley for the second time in their last meeting.

Pacquiao has assured Filipinos that his job as a senator will not be affected.

But for now, it is not yet confirmed who is going to be his next opponent and the venue to where the boxing event will happen is not yet sure. One thing that is certain now is the fact that IT'S gonna be a younger and stronger rival than his last opponent.

Who Will Be The Next Muhammad Ali On May 2?

By Alon Calinao Dy: Fight fans originally knew that "The Fight of the Century" belonged to Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier when they'd their first meeting in 1971. Ali and Frazier fought with all their hearts that made "The Thrilla in Manila" an all-time successful event.

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, have the much-anticipated fight on May 2, who will be the winner of this bout and be named as "The Next Muhammad Ali" of the new era?

Flomos say it is Mayweather because he is undefeated boxer and a whiz in the ring, but Pactards know that the Filipino boxing champ will give the American boxer his first loss.

It is less than a month that we are going to watch these elite boxers in the boxing stadium. It is obvious that the excitement is all over in Las Vegas. Boxing fans want to be part of this history. The new champ of the century will be named between Pacquiao and Mayweather.

Mayweather is really serious and quiet for this fight. It is unusual for Mayweather to act like this as I have known him who has a flamboyant character. This proves that a fight against Pacquiao is the hardest battle that he will encounter for his entire career.

On the other hand, Pacquiao, who has tasted loses and has 57 wins, believes that he is in top condition and can fight Mayweather anytime he wants to. Although the greatest pressure is in Mayweather, the eight-division world champion knows that if he wins this richest fight in history, he can retire as one of the all-time greats in boxing.

Yet, it's hard to predict who will win this competition when you have two pound-for-pound kings in the ring fighting for one crown. Whoever wins or loses in this dream match, the best thing that happens in boxing is to see them fight. Thus, everyone is a winner.

Rumors Say Alex Ariza is A Spy

By Alon Calinao Dy: Pacquiao’s previous strength and conditioning coach, Alex Ariza, has been named as a spy by the fans of Filipino boxing champ since he is moving from one camp to another against Pacquiao.

In a recent comment on Facebook, a loyal supporter of Pacquiao said that Ariza has been studying Pacquiao over the years because from the very start he knew that the Mayweather - Pacquiao fight would happen.

In my impression, I don't think Alex Ariza is a spy. I don't care whether he is a spy or not because boxing is a business and anyone can hire a professional conditioning coach as long as you have money to pay for the services of the trainer.

For All I know Ariza left the team because he had a fight against Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach. Perhaps, Mayweather has a slight advantage over Pacquiao for having Ariza on his camp, but it does not change a situation that this is a game of techniques and pure skills between the two best boxers in the world.

It is true that Ariza worked with Pacquiao and Roach for 5 years before Mayweather hired him in 2014. Despite of this, Puerto Rican professional boxer and WBC & The Ring World Middleweight Champion, Miguel Cotto, believed that Roach has a master plan to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Since Cotto fought these two fighters before, I've got a feeling that he might telling us the truth. Roach is a secret weapon of Manny Pacquiao to beat Mayweather. But I guess Mayweather has a secret weapon, too. Let's all see on May 2.
